The Hart voor Swaziland Foundation wants to care for vulnerable (young) people in Swaziland. We do this by providing practical help in impoverished living situations (HOME), distributing God's Word and Love (HOPE), and bringing joy in difficult living conditions (HAPPINESS).
Specifically, this means:
HOME:
By providing practical help, the living situation of Swazi families improves, so they have a safe place to live, children can grow up healthier, and they get the opportunity to fully or partially provide for themselves.
Think of: renovations, maintenance work, sanitary facilities, creating a vegetable garden, building a chicken coop, etc.
HOPE:
By distributing God's Word and love among children, youth, prisoners, and widows and discipling them based on biblical principles and stories. This brings new hope for the future. Children and youth have a better chance to build a future through education. Therefore, we help them to (re)attend school and contribute to mandatory school fees and uniforms where we see need.
HAPPINESS:
By placing play equipment (swings, football goals, and net poles), organizing sports & play activities, and organizing family outings (fishing, swimming, or going to the cinema/football match), we offer the opportunity to play, relax, and forget the 'worries of everyday life' for a while.
